The book contains 59 photographs by my grandfather, 51 by my father, and 66 by me. Years before her death, my mother gave me their unseen photographic negatives. After her passing, I scanned, edited, and sequenced the entire body of work, completing her story with my own images from her final years. This work will be published as a monograph by Steidl. The photographs shown here are a selection from the 66 images I personally made during her final years. Marq Sutherland is a photographer whose work explores intimacy, family, and memory.
